A family that…

This is a project we did a while ago with Steffe, Camilla and little Frank. A beautiful family and good friends of ours.

A small piece of horror, fantasy or a collaboration between heaven, hell, beauty and darkness and then, in the middle of everything…. an adorable little cute boy :)

By the way, Steffe has a club here in Stockholm called Rocks. Really cool place with great music. You should all pay it a visit if you happen to pass through Stockholm!

I got this little rock-outfit for my son Tim in Mexico back in 1991. Now 20 years later Frank borrows it :)

Amberian Dawn

I got up early as hell for this job – 4:30 to be exact… That is actually not so far from the time I usually go to bed, being a nocturnal and all. Anyway as soon as I stepped outside the door and took a breath of the cool and fresh air, I was alive. Today I was working on the a video recording for the Finnish symphonic power metal band, Amberian Dawn on the song “Cold Kiss” feat. Timo Kotipelto from the band Stratovarius.

Recording was located one hour drive from Stockholm, in an old fortress – Fredriksborg. A really cool place and perfectly suitable for the vampire story. The video was directed by Ville Lipiainen. He has done work with bands such as Pain, The 69 eyes, Nightwish, Sonic Syndicate among others. Operating the camera was Denis Goria and Matti Knuutila.

After I was done with the make up on Timo and the models featuring in the video, I grabbed the opportunity to take some photos of them.

Welcome To The Freakshow

Sorry for lagging with my blogging. I will try to do better now. These past couple of months I have worked close with Swedish rock band FATAL SMILE.

I shot the photos and did the make up and Mattias did the editing for their upcoming album, entitled “21st Century Freaks“. To be released on April 27 via Metallville Records.

The first single “Welcome To The Freakshow” will be released in March.

Mr. Y – Guitar, Blade – Vocals, Philty – Drums, Alx – Bass

The actual video shoot was crazy and massive. I got pretty busy doing both the boys make up and preparing for my own little special appearance, dancing with a beautiful snake : )

The video is directed by Owe Lindwall. Now, he has done some utterly cool stuff with bands like Kamelot, The Rasmus and Meshuggah just to name a few.

But for now you must check out Fatal Smile’s trailer for the new upcoming video of the song “Welcome to the Freakshow”.

Hyundai Coupé

I fell in love with the Hyundai Coupé back in 1997, just when it hit the market. In the U.S. this model was called Tiburon, meaning “shark” in spanish. I purchased it new and I felt it was very reliable, sporty and thrifty. Never had problems with it. So when my little car was stolen and crashed a few weeks ago, I decided to get the same kind of car again. My first Hyundai was red and I had driven it 8 500 (swedish) miles in 15 years. The one I got today is yellow, from 2000 and has 4 900 (swedish) miles on it. I got a great deal on this already surprisingly affordable car. And it was all covered by my insurance, lucky me! I just love its curvaceous styling and the combination of a smooth, powerful, comfort and quality car. Sort of a Korean impression of an old British sports car and certainly superior when it comes to personality.

Another positive thing is that the car also meets the requirements to reduce the impact on the environment. It is classified as a “Green Car” or “Environmental Class 1” by being specially equipped to minimize emissions of carbon oxides and hydrocarbons. The the government rewards you for this by not having to pay vehicle tax during the first five years.
